dri2-utils software package provides Tests utilities for the DRI2 extension to the X Window System -- testing tools, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dri2-utils
dri2-utils is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dri2-utils package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dri2-utils *
You will get with dri2-utils package name, version, architecture and description in a table
